Shao Yuanyuan (Chinese: 邵媛媛 Shào Yuànyuàn) is a character from the Link Click donghua series. She is Cheng Xiaoshi's Mother.
Appearance[]
Shao Yuanyuan has long, straight brown hair and the same grey-brown eyes as her son. She is also shown wearing hooped earrings and a dark coat in Episode 27.
In an Episode 5 flashback where she is seen singing a lullaby to a young Cheng Xiaoshi, she is depicted with shorter, shoulder-length brown hair, a blue tank top and shorts. In this flashback, her hair also appears to be wavier than in other depictions. [1]
Personality[]
Shao Yuanyuan is shown to have a bubbly disposition in Episode 29. Her outgoing and playful demeanor is similar to her son's, and she frequently teases him throughout their interaction.
Despite her seemingly carefree nature, she is also shown to be dedicated to her goals, as evidenced by how she was determined to save her husband by going back in time even if it meant leaving her son.
Story[]
Shao Yuanyuan mysteriously vanished one day, leaving Cheng Xiaoshi behind during his childhood. At some point in the past she warned Qiao Ling's Father that if he truly cared about Cheng Xiaoshi, that he should not let him go to Bridon.[2]

Similarly to Cheng Xiaoshi's ability, Shao Yuanyuan can possess the individual who took a photo and control their actions and words. She uses this ability to possess Wang Qing when Cheng Xiaoshi was in Bridon to briefly reunite with him.

Trivia[]
- According to Shao Yuanyuan herself[3], she never passed any English exam, which is genetically reflected in her son Cheng Xiaoshi's poor English.
