Ouyang Bubai (Chinese: 欧阳不败 Ōuyáng Bùbài) is a character who appears in Link Click. He is the father of Ouyang and the father-in-law of Liu Siwen.
Story
Ouyang Bubai is an experienced martial artist. He lives at the top of a mountain, where he trained his students. When he discovered that Liu Siwen and his daughter, Ouyang, intended to marry each other, he did not approve as Liu Siwen did not come from a martial arts background and was younger than Ouyang. However, Liu Siwen persisted However, Liu Siwen persisted throughout the years, working hard to train in martial arts, climbing the mountains every year to duel Ouyang Bubai in order to win his approval, and even opening his own martial arts school. At some point, he and Ouyang had a son, but Liu Siwen still did not give up on winning Ouyang Bubai's approval. Many years later, although Liu Siwen never once won a duel against Ouyang Bubai, he still finally decided to let go, allowing Liu Siwen to fulfill his promise.[1]
In Season 2, after Lu Guang was stabbed by Li Tianchen, at Qiao Ling's request, Ouyang Bubai agreed to register for hospitalization in place of Lu Guang as a measure of precaution. Both Ouyang and Liu Siwen accompanied him to the hospital. When leaving the hospital at night, they were suddenly unable to contact Qiao Ling. Realizing they might be in trouble, the trio found Qiao Ling and Cheng Xiaoshi surrounded by Qian Jin's men. They swiftly defeated the attackers, leading to their arrest.[2]
