Ouyang (Chinese: 欧阳 Ōuyáng)[Note 1] is a character who appears in Link Click. She is the love interest of Liu Siwen, the main client in Episode 5.5.
Appearance
Ouyang is a fairly pretty young woman with long, brown hair styled in a hime cut and reddish-brown eyes to match. Later as an old lady, she dresses much more simpler, has cut her hair untidily, and styled it to frame her face instead.
Story
Ouyang is comes from a family that practices martial arts. When young, she helped Liu Siwen fend off a group of people attempting to bully him, prompting Liu Siwen to confess to her on the spot. Their feelings turned out to be mutual and remained so as they grew up, and Liu Siwen promised Ouyang that he would marry her. However, Ouyang's father did not approve of their relationship, as Liu Siwen did not come from a martial arts background and was younger than Ouyang. However, Liu Siwen persisted throughout the years, working hard to train in martial arts, climbing the mountains every year to duel Ouyang's father in order to win his approval, and even opening his own martial arts school. At some point, he and Ouyang had a son, but Liu Siwen still did not give up on winning Ouyang Bubai's approval. After unsuccessful attempts made by Qiao Ling, Cheng Xiaoshi, and Lu Guang to change the past, they accompanied Liu Siwen to the top of the mountain once more. Although he collapsed from exhaustion before the duel could even start, Ouyang's father still finally decided to let go, allowing Liu Siwen to fulfill his promise.[1]
In Season 2, after Lu Guang was stabbed by Li Tianchen, at Qiao Ling's request, Ouyang's father agreed to register for hospitalization in place of Lu Guang as a measure of precaution. Both Ouyang and Liu Siwen accompanied him to the hospital. When leaving the hospital at night, they were suddenly unable to contact Qiao Ling. Realizing they might be in trouble, the trio found Qiao Ling and Cheng Xiaoshi surrounded by Qian Jin's men. They swiftly defeated the attackers, leading to their arrest.[2]
