Lu Guang (Chinese: 陆光 Lù Guāng) is the deuteragonist of the Link Click donghua series. He has the ability to see everything that happens in a photo within 12 hours of it being taken. Alongside Cheng Xiaoshi, he is able to share his consciousness and direct what he can and cannot do while inside a photo. He is a partner at the Time Photo Studio.
Appearance
Lu Guang has a tall, thin, similar build to that of Cheng Xiaoshi's, with pale skin, long lashes and steel-grey eyes. He has white fluffy hair that reaches up to his ears, often drawn swooping upwards in whatever direction he happens to facing, and dark eyebrows that contrast with his light hair.
In Season 1, Lu Guang wears a loose-fitting dark gray T-shirt, over which he wears a white dress shirt. This is then paired with dark blue-gray slacks and white sneakers with black socks.
Many of Bilibili's and INPLICK's official illustrations that feature Lu Guang have him sporting this same outfit as well as his usual black-and-white color scheme. This is with the occasional addition of blue highlights to either his hair or his clothes as a way to emphasize his character color being blue.
In Season 2, following the events that occur near the end of Season 1, Lu Guang wears white pajamas with blue accents. His shirt pocket has a small white cat peeking out of it and sticking its paws out. While inside of the hospital, he wears white cat slippers. When outside, he is seen wearing white shoes.
Lu Guang also wears large flat black digital watch on his right wrist, something he often uses to coordinate the dives he goes on with Cheng Xiaoshi. When activating the ability to foresee things happening in a photo, his eyes change color to an icy blue.
Personality
Lu Guang is characterized as a calm, albeit slightly stoic and uptight person. Compared to Cheng Xiaoshi, he is typically much more serious and mature, something other characters love to jokingly comment on. As a highly reserved and reticent individual, he rarely discloses much of his private thoughts, sporting something of a mysterious aura as a result.
Attuned to the gravity of his and Cheng Xiaoshi's work, Lu Guang tends to display the kind of professionalism his partner is not efficient in. He is capable of staying rational and impersonal in a variety of uncomfortable situations, and hardly ever loses his composure - when he does, it can usually be traced down to his worry about the timeline drastically shifting due to Cheng Xiaoshi's impulsiveness.[1][2][3][4]
This, of course, doesn't mean Lu Guang is completely detached or devoid of any emotion. In fact, he relatively frequently exhibits profound sympathy towards their clients: physically comforting Li Doudou's father[5], helping Xu Shanshan without taking payment[6], and agreeing to relay Chen Xiao's farewells to his loved ones that died in an earthquake[7], regardless of the possibility of Cheng Xiaoshi (whose parents were speculated to have perished in the same quake) finding out and becoming devastated. And whilst not the most extravagant about his affections, Lu Guang also cares about, and is devoted towards his friends. He habitually looks after both Qiao Ling and Cheng Xiaoshi in discreet ways, and neither mocks nor judges them by the things they are troubled by.
As a subtle contrast for someone so seemingly in control of himself, Lu Guang is hinted to be somewhat self-conscious. He is often seen getting embarrassed with comparatively little provocation, such as Qiao Ling steamrolling him in a mobile game[8], or Cheng Xiaoshi calling him an old man in front of Xiao Li and Chen Bin[9]. He also keeps up with Cheng Xiaoshi's playful antics patiently enough, despite evidently not being one for humour himself.[10][11]
Abilities
Future Vision
Lu Guang has the ability to see everything that happens in a 12 hour timeframe after a photo has been taken. His eyes will turn an icy blue when he uses this skill.
When linked with Cheng Xiaoshi, he can share the consciousness of the person Cheng Xiaoshi is in the body of, allowing him to direct Cheng Xiaoshi's next steps. However, he cannot feel their smell has shown in Episode 7 as he did not realize that until its too late that the ball's smell is responsible for controlling Dou Dou.

- Lu Guang's character color is blue, usually ranging in his character Illustrations between shades of light steel grey to bright azure blue.
- The animal associated with him is a white cat. This cat is often shown having blue eyes in the illustrations it is in with Lu Guang.
- Lu Guang is the only main character whose age is still unknown.
- As of Season 2, Lu Guang, Cheng Xiaoshi and Qiao Ling have matching charms on their phones, with Lu Guang having a white cat, Cheng Xiaoshi a black dog and Qiao Ling a white bunny.

Etymology
Lu Guang's family name is 陆 (Lù), a common southern Chinese surname. His singular given name 光 (Guāng) means "brilliance" or "light". In terms of character naming, 陆 can also mean "land"/"shore" as in "陆地", making the full name to have the meaning "light of the shore".
Lu Guang's given name can be combined with the character 时 (shí) from Cheng Xiaoshi's name to form the noun 时光 (shíguāng), which means "time". It is often associated with both past memories and flowing time. This same noun is seen in both the title of the series (时光代理人 / shíguāng dàilǐ-rén) and in the name of the photo studio they both work at, Time Photography Studio (时光照相馆 / shíguāng zhàoxiàng-guǎn).
In promotional art released before the Season 1 premiere, Lu Guang's English name was confirmed to be "Lucas".
